For JEE U need not do any intense preperation in algebra or any topic. Ur basics shud be clear and U must have practice of some gud amount of problems NOT a whole bulk of probs. Hence I would advise to do algebra from a general maths buk like TMH, ML khanna,RD sharma etc. But still if U want to buy one, the best is Hall & Knight. I use it as well and its a gud buk.

you can practise problems from any buk like tmh or rd.sharma or ml.khanna,but if you want to strenghten your concepts,go with hall n knight.

HALL & KNIGHT WILL BE BEST FOR UNDERSTANDING. TO GET DEEP IN IIT WORKING MODELS. ARIHANT ALGEBRA IS THE BEST.......................
