Gautam Buddha University Vice-Chancellor Mohinder Singh today released the 'Vision 2020' document, which envisaged the plans of expansion in various other fields of studies.

"We as an institution owe a great deal to the society we live in. The role of educational institutions is to induce hope and a sense of dignity among all young aspirants who come to us for acquiring knowledge and practicing wisdom," Singh said told reporters.

A Centre for Manufacturing and one Centre for Reliability and Test among the various other projects planned to be set up, he said.

The University is a dream project of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati.
