If the Madhya Pradesh government's plan goes well, information technology companies Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) may employ 20,000 engineers hailing from the state in the near future, said a minister Wednesday.

A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan decided to allot 100 acre land each in Indore to both the Infosys and TCS, on the promise of generating jobs.

The land will be allotted at the rate of Rs.20 lakh per acre.
