INTRODUCTION:
Aligarh Muslim University is an Academic Institution which was established in 1875 by the act of Indian Muslims and the Act of Indian Parliament made it a University. It was modeled on the University of Cambridge and was among the first Institutions of higher learning setup during British Occupation.

B. Tech. / B. Arch. / B.E. with 55% marks in aggregate
OR
(i) The candidate must have obtained Bachelor Degree in Science from a recognized
University with 55% marks in aggregate and must have studied Mathematics along with any two of the following subjects - Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Application, Computer Maintenance, Information Technology as main or subsidiary subject at the qualifying examination.
(ii) Must have studied Physics and Mathematics in the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent Course.

Selection Procedure/ Exam Pattern: Candidates for MCA are to be selected for admission on the basis of Admission Test as follows:
One written paper of Two Hours duration consisting of 100 questions based on the following subjects:
1. Mathematics and Statistics: 50 Questions
2. Physics: 20 Questions
3. Computer Science: 20 Questions
4. Logical ability, deductive ability and reasoning: 10 Questions
