Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Vishwa Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram is provided with the deemed university status by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education of University Grants Commission. The university offers a three year degree in MCA that requires any UG degree with a minimum of 50% in mathematics at 10+2 level. Furthermore the selection is based on the marks obtained from qualifying degree.
